As part of the Sultanate 2020 strategy, the Omani Ministry of Tourism has unveiled plans to attract 12 million tourists to the Sultanate by 2020, Oman Tribune has reported. Sheikh Abdulmalik Bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Minister of Tourism has said that Omran, which has been established to be the investment arm of the ministry, has been spearheading investment projects in the various parts of the Sultanate and managing them as well.
