By staff - Wed Nov 23, 4:54 am

Muscat, Nov 22 (ONA)- The weather forecasts show that the Northern parts of the Sultanate will be affected by a state of weather instability that will last up to mid next week due to the air depression in the upper layer of the atmosphere.

The depression is expected to affect Musandam Governorate tomorrow (Wednesday) and that the weather will gradually move to partially cloudy on next Thursday and Friday on Northern Al Batinah, Al Buraimi, Southern Al Batinah and A’Dhahirah A’Dakhiliyah and Muscat Governorates with a possibility of dispersed rains mostly light to moderate rains, which may be associated with thunder and active winds in limited areas in these governorates.

The Directorate General of Meteorology and Air Navigation cautions people during rain fall and outflow of wadis. IT advises fishermen and sea riders at the coasts of the Sea of Oman and Musandam Governorate not to ride the sea unless they ensure the weather condition.
