The Information Technology Authority (ITA) entered the 2012 edition of this Award for the very first time in the Green Guardian category. The Green Guardian Award goes to the organization that strongly espouses the values of environmental protection, preservation and conservation through eco-friendly practices at the workplace and in the community as a whole.

We have launched several initiatives to reduce, reuse and recycle and encourage such projects in partnership with the community under the holistic theme of the ITA’s ‘Green Initiative’, he added.
