In a thrilling match Oman secured a crucial 2-1 victory, winning in a penalty shoot out in men’s consolation group2 match in the fifth Men’s and Women’s Beach Handball World Championships 2012 here at the Musannah Sports
City on July 12.

In the first period the Oman players came from behind to win it 21-1.

But Qatar came in the match to win the second period 18-14.

After regulation time oman secured victory 10-8 in penalty shoot out.
In this dramatic match Qatar was shown two red cards.
